After the first tour of European Championship’s elite round, Zuriko Davitashvili talked about the team of Georgia and his own game in an interview with Loco’s webpage. On March 21st, the Georgian U17s played against the host Polish team ending 2-2.
"I am quite satisfied with the result achieved against the Polish. In the second half we were left with 10 footballers on the field and despite this fact, we did not show a bad game.
As for my performance, goals are always very pleasant, especially when they help your team achieve the result.
I think that we have a really good chance to leave the group. I hope everything will be finished in our favour". - claims Davitashvili.
The U17 team of Georgia will compete against Ireland in the second tour of the elite-round on March 24th.
