Loss against Torpedo Kutaisi

In the 13th round of Erovnuli Liga, Locomotive Tbilisi lost the match against Torpedo Kutaisi. On May 20, the clash at Ramaz Shengelia Stadium was won by the guest team 2:0.


The 1st half was carried out with transitive superiority. Torpedo owned the ball more often, although both of the teams had trouble in creating real goal-scoring moments.


Torpedo opened the score on 44th minute, but the referee of the match signaled offside position and cancelled the goal.
On 51st minute, Kapanadze tried to score after he had received the ball from Dolidze. A shot with head by a forward of Torpedo hit the pole.


On 57th minute, Ardazishvili tried to score from a long distance, but he missed the target, lacking just a little more accurance.  After a minute, the match was over because of some technical reason.


Electricity was turned off at Ramaz Shengelia Stadium. The match was resumed after 20 minutes.


On 63rd minute, the host team had one more favorable moment. A penalty kick by Tughushi was repelled by Beqa Qurdadze on a corner.


The score was opened by Torpedo on 69th minute. Qurdadze’s gate was raided by Lasha Kuchukhidze, who entered the field through substitution. Dolidze performed a penalty kick.  Qurdadze could not hold a ball still in hands and a forward of the host team played well as he outstripped everybody.


On 81st minute Irakli Sikharulidze had a chance to equalize the score. Gega Diasamidze passed the ball to number 7 of Locomotive from the depth of the field, Sikharulidze performed a head kick, but he missed the target with minimal distance.


On 85th minute, Beqa Tughushi scored the 2nd goal and thus fixed the final result of the game.


Locomotive occupied the 4th position with 21 points. Devdariani’s team will have next match on their own field against Kolkheti Poti. The match will take place on May 23, at 18:00.
