MIC 2019

Reigning champion of Georgian U-19 Golden League F.C. Locomotive Tbilisi will compete in the 2019 Mediterranean Cup. Tournament will kick off on April 16th in Spain's resort town of Costa Brava. Locomotive was among the seeded teams in the group stage draw. It should be noted that along with Locomotive seeded teams were Barcelona, ​​Real Madrid, Villarreal and Atletico Madrid. Locomotive rivals "Banolias" "B1 Soccer Academy" and "Elite Uniun Academy" in group F match ups. "Banolias" and  "B1 Soccer Academy" are local Catalonian (Catalan) football academies while "Elite Union Academy"  represents Great Britain.

The tournament is distinguished by diversity and multiculturism. Clubs and academies from all over world have opportunity to play, live and gain unique experience with biggest teams in the world. Throughout years the stars of modern football have competed at MIC. Big names such as Lionel Messi, Neymar, Coutinho, Marcelo, Dani Carvajal, Saul Niguez, Hector Bellerin, Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata, Gerrard Pique had taken very first steps in developing in to players they are today.
