FC Locomotive Tbilisi claim first win of the season against Iberia 2

In the 7th round of the 2025 Erovnuli Liga 2 season, FC Locomotive Tbilisi faced Iberia 2 in Saguramo and celebrated a 4:2 victory.

The match turned out to be lively and competitive. Loco opened the scoring in the 19th minute through Shashiashvili. Just seven minutes later, Shakro Dvalishvili doubled the lead after a precise assist from Lasha Kalandadze.

Iberia 2 pulled one back in the 42nd minute thanks to Givi Khachidze’s goal, but Loko began the second half aggressively and restored the two-goal cushion in the 60th minute via Lasha Menteshashvili.

Late in the game, both teams added a goal each — Daniel Kvarckhava scored for the visitors, while Luka Kekelidze sealed the final score in the 88th minute.

This was Locomotive’s first win of the season, following four consecutive draws. As a result, the team climbed to 6th place in the standings. In the next round, Loco will host Spaeri on April 24.
