Defeat against Aragvi in a penalty shootout
In the second leg of the Erovnuli Liga 2 relegation play-off, Loco suffered a 0-1 defeat against Aragvi in Saguramo. Since our team had won the first leg 2-3 away from home, the match proceeded to extra time and then a penalty shootout. No goals were scored during extra time, and our team lost 6-7 on penalties, which means they will play in League 3 for the 2026 season.
Loco 2 maintained its place in League 3, but since two teams from the same club are not allowed to play in the same division, Loco 2 will compete in the 4th tier instead.
