Davit Bukia and Soso Kopaliani played against Israel

Two players from FC Locoemotive Tbilisi - Davit Bukia and Soso Kopaliani - were called up to the Georgian under-19 football team for two friendly matches against the Israel national team.

Our national team held its first friendly match against the Israeli age group on February 26 and lost 2:3. Bukia spent 90 minutes on the field, while Kopaliani was among the substitutes. The second control match took place on February 28 and ended 0:0. Bukia played 90 minutes in this match, and Soso Kopaliani appeared on the field in the second half and received 45 minutes.

It was the last preparatory meeting for the under-19 team before the elite round matches of the European Championship. Italy will host Eliteround on March 20-26. The Georgian national team will face Scotland, Czech Republic and Italy in the group. Only the winner of the group will play in the final stage.
