Davit Jikia being back to Locomotive

Locomotive Tbilisi has one more newcomer. The club has signed a contract with 22 years old midfielder, Davit Jikia.

Jikia is going to play for Loco till the end of 2019. If there is an initiative from the parties, the contract will be renewed for one more year.

He started his professional career in 2011, in Locomotive. With Loco’s T-shirt, he has played  in 51 matches and has scored 34 goals.

In 2014 Jiqia continued his career in Torpedo Kutaisi and then came back to Locomotive from there.

In 2015 he moved to Dinamo Tbilisi, and after a half of season he became a footballer of Saburtalo, where he played in 18 matches and scored 7 goals.

From 2015 Davit had been playing in the membership of Samtredia. In 2016 he became a champion of the country and the owner of Super Cup. Wearing a T-shirt of Samtredia, Jikia has played in 63 matches and has scored 12 goals in Erovnuli Liga.

Jikia used to be a member of U19 and U17 teams of Georgia. Being in the membership of U19, he has played in 2 matches and has scored 2 goals.
