FC Locomotive will resume the season with a match against Bolnisi Sion

On August 3, FC Locomotive Tbilisi will host Bolnisi Sion in the 19th round of the League 2.

This is the first match for Tbilisi side after returning to Mikheil Meskhi 2. This season, before the break, Loco was playing its home games at the Olympic Village Stadium in Dighomi.

Loco was recently eliminated from the Davit Kipiani Georgian Cup, our team lost to FC Dinamo Tbilisi in the 1/8 final stage. Before that, Revaz Gotsiridze's team defeated Kobuleti Shukura, a resident of the National League, in the 1/16 finals.

As for the opponent, FC Sion currently occupies the 6th place in the League 2. At the draw of the Georgian Cup, the people of Bolnisi were also eliminated in the 1/8 finals against FC Dinamo Batumi.

The teams have already played twice in the current season, both meetings ended with Sion's victory - 2:1, 3:1. The last time our team was able to defeat Kvemo Kartleli was in 2019, in the National League. In the match held in Bolnisi, Ubilava and Sikharulidze managed to score goals for Loko.
