Irakli Sikharulidze being the best football player in Erovnuli Liga

A striker of Locomotive Tbilisi, Irakli Sikharulidze, has become the best footballer of Erovnuli Liga.

On December 27^th, the annual awards ceremony of Georgian Football Federation (GFF) has taken place, where only the best ones were nominated in different categories.

Besides the prize given to the best top scorer of Erovnuli Liga, Sikharulidze has also been awarded a prize of the best striker and the football player. Irakli was given the prize by the Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia, Mikheil Giorgadze.
 
In order to reveal the best players, a poll was conducted in which the head coaches of Erovnuli Liga, footballers, members of the Georgian National Team, Media Representatives and veteran footballers had been questioned.

In 2017, with Loco’s T-shirt, Irakli has scored 25 goals in Erovnuli Liga and has become the best top scorer of the competition.
