Loco's head coach Revaz Gotsiridze about last season

FC Locomotive Tbilisi finished the 2024 season of the National League 2 in fourth place.

We asked Loco's head coach Revaz Gotsiridze to comment on the past season.

“We had planned to move to the National League before the season, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out. There are several reasons for this, the main one being injuries. At first, we were missing many leading players. In the third and even more so in the fourth round, almost all the players returned, competition arose in the team, and this was reflected in the result. I think this was the main reason that prevented us from achieving our goal.

As for Loco 2, if the first team was to win a ticket to the National League, the second team would also have to fight for promotion, but in the end, it so happened that Loco 2 had to finish in the top ten. They did it honestly. "In addition, we discovered several young players there and we are satisfied in this regard," said Revaz Gotsiridze.
