Locomotive loses to fellow citizens

In the following round of Crystalbet Erovnuli Liga, Locomotive, being a guest team, competed with their fellows “Saburtalo”.

Locomotive took an active start in the match. Irakli Sikharulidze threatened the door of “Saburtalo” two times, however, in the first case it was repelled by Omar Migineishvili, afterwards, the ball passed close to the target. The hosts scored in response, but Levan Kakubava’s goal was offside and therefore, canceled. In the first half, the teams did not really show any special moments.

The initial minutes of the second half was actively started by “Saburtalo” – they got several corner kicks in the rival’s door. One of those attempts was almost successful, the ball passed close to “Loco’s” door. Loco had some favourable episodes in response to the rivals’ strikes, however, a shot from a close area towards the door was not accurate. At the 66 minute, Locomotive lacked a player, Aleqsandre Gureshidze knocked Lasha Shindagoridze down and thus got his second yellow card in the match. At the 79^th minute, the only goal of the match was scored, Lasha Shindagoridze opened the score with a header, fixing the final result of the clash.
