VICTORY GAINED IN A FRIENDLY MATCH: LOCOMOTIVE 3-1 SHEVARDENI 1906

Within the framework of the preparatory stage of Erovnuli Liga, Locomotive Tbilisi defeated Shevardeni 1906 in a friendly match. On July 21^st, the clash at Saguramo base ended 3-1.

It worths mentioning that the injured footballers of Locomotive, Teimuraz Shonia, Irakli Komakhidze and Ucha Lobzhanidze are back to their team.

Lasha Chaghiashvili gave chances to all of the footballers to play, even to the members of the Under – 19 team, Luka Jafaridze, Sandro Shewiruli, Levan Grdzelidze and Shota Shekiladze.

The score was opened by Mamia Gavashelishvili at the 12^th minute. Levan Kenia passed a ball from the corner to the penalty area, Loco’s number 9 played accurately and raided Giorgi Somkhishvili’s door with a header.

At the 20^th minute, Loco could have increased the score in two subsequent moments. In the first episode Levan Kenia played perfectly.

After cheating two footballers, Kenia set his target on Revaz Injgia who was left alone near the door, although, this latter hit the crossbar. Just in a minute, following Shonia’s accurate pass, Injgia kicked the ball once more but it hit the crossbar again.

At the 53^rd minute, Lasha Gvalia benefited from the mistake made by the defenders of the guest team, he passed accurately to Sandro Shetsiruli and this latter scored the second goal.

At the 61^st minute, Luka Kikabidze made a goal-scoring pass to the captain of Loco, thus Davit Ubilava netted the 3^rd goal against Shevardeni.

From the composition of the guest team, Luka Khardziani scored the only goal at the 76^th minute.
