Giorgi Geguchadze – Coaching Loco is a great responsibility, youth development is the core of our strategy

FC Locomotive will be coached by Giorgi Geguchadze Jr.

We asked him to comment on the current situation in the team and future plans:

“This is my first club. It is a great honor and, at the same time, a double responsibility to be the head coach of FC Locomotive.

The team has begun the process of rejuvenation. Additionally, Nika Chanturia has been appointed as the sporting director, which makes me happy and is something I welcome because he knows the team well, each player individually, and his presence in this position is a great asset for us. I believe these changes will be the foundation for future success.

The development of young players is a central part of our strategy. The new season presents great challenges for us. I am confident that through collective effort and dedication, we will overcome all difficulties. Of course, we will also strive to strengthen the team even further.

Our main goal this year is to build a solid and stable foundation for the team so that from next year onward, we can compete for bigger objectives. To achieve these goals, we will work tirelessly with the team every day,” said Giorgi Geguchadze.
