Winter Cup: Locomotive loses in Penalty Series against Rustavi

Locomotive, fighting for the third place in Winter Cup, lost the match against Rustavi. In Tbilisi Olympic Palace, Lasha Chaghiashvili’s team could not succeed in penalty series.

The regular time ended 6-6. Out of Loco’s composition, Luka Kikabidze performed hat trick. Davit Jikia, Aleksandre Gureshidze and Otar Kobakhidze scored one goal each.

The penalty series ended in favor of Rustavi with 4-2. Penalty kicks were accurately accomplished by Davit Ubilava and Luka Kikabidze. Lasha Gvalia’s shot missed the target,  Lasha Ozbetelashvili was outclassed by Rustavi’s goalkeeper.

Loco finished the tournament organized by the Football Federation along with the best four.
