FC Locomotive Tbilisi won 2024 Bendela Cup.
In the final of the tournament, our academy team defeated the Kazakh Kairaty 1:0. In this year's tournament, 16 teams were divided into 4 subgroups.
In the first match, Loco defeated Ertoba 7:0. Iashvili scored 3 goals, Zeinklishvili, Pachulia, Amiranashvili and Baganashvili scored once.
Then we won against Iberia 4:3, Baganashvili scored twice, and Kipiani scored twice. Then we defeated Gurjaani 6:0 - Iashvili managed to score twice, Baganashvili, Amiranashvili, Zeinklishvili and Bliadze scored once.
In the quarter-finals, we won against Iberia 1:0 with a goal from Bliadze, and in the match to qualify for the final, we defeated Inter Academy 2:0 with goals from Baganashvili and Kipiani.
As for the final, Iashvili scored the winning goal against Kairat.
Giorgi Iashvili was named the best player of the final, Nikoloz Chikhladze was the best goalkeeper of the tournament, Nikoloz Baganashvili the most skillfull player. Loco coach Lasha Kvaratskhelia was recognized as the best coach, and Saba Sujashvili was named the best player of the competition.
