Locomotive loses against the Leader of Erovnuli Liga
In the 29th round of Erovnuli Liga, Locomotive Tbilisi failed to win the struggle against Dinamo Tbilisi. The host team gained the victory 3:1 at Dinamo Arena.
Mamia Gavashelishvili and Irakli Komakhidze were missing the match again due to their injuries. As for Luka Kikabidze, having a micro trauma, he was not included in an announcement as well.
Tbilisi Derby started with a momentary tribute. The teams and all the supporters at the stadium payed tribute to Shota Maminashvili, a goalkeeper of FC Zugdidi. 31 years old goalkeeper died on October 1.
The score was opened in the debut of the match. On the 5th minute, a defender of Dinamo, Lasha Totadze, raided Revaz Tevdoradze’s gate with a penalty kick.
After the goal, Loco succeeded to score in one of the episodes, although Gega Diasamidze’s goal was disallowed by the referee. According to his decision, Diasamidze was in offside position when he got a pass from Irakli Sikharulidze.
On 38th minute, Giorgi Devdariani was forced to make a substitution. Revaz Chiteishvili joined his team after Temur Ghonghadze had left the field because of the injury.
On the 44th and 45th minutes, the teams exchanged the goals. Giorgi Rekhviashvili equalized the score. A corner kick by Gega Diasamidze was netted in the host’s gate with header by a defender of Loco. In a minute, Dinamo still managed to advance owing to Miqeltadze. A forward of the host team scored with Qavtaradze’s pass.
In the 2nd half, Locomotive created two goal-scoring moments. In both of the cases Kavtaradze was struggling to score. In the first case,he was outclassed by the goalkeeper of the host team, Lytovchenko, as he managed to repel the ball. As for the second case, Nodar had a chance to score from the penalty corner, but he missed the target.
A final result of the game was fixed by Lasha Kochladze during the compensated time by the referee.
After 29 tours, Giorgi Devdariani’s team occupies the 4th place, having 48 points. In the following match, Locomotive will compete with Saburtalo. Another Tbilisi Derby will take place at Mikheil Meskhi spare stadium on October 19, at 13:30.
