Locomotive loses with minimal score against Dinamo Batumi
In the 19th round of Erovnuli Liga, Locomotive Tbilisi lost the match against Dinamo Batumi with minimal score. Among the team membership, defender Levan Kurdadze and a midfielder Giorgi Gorozia had a debut match.
The guest team managed to open the score on 13th minute. Elguja Grigalashvili scored the only goal of the game. The team of Batumi carried out their attack from the left wing. After that, Temur Chogadze received the ball while being in the penalty area. He tried to score with a strong kick.
Number 18 of the host team was outclassed by Revaz Tevdoradze as he managed to repel the ball. Nobody could block the way for Grigalashvili and thus he scored the winning goal.
In the very first half of the game, Locomotive had a chance to equalize the score with Irakli Sikharulidze’s and then Giorgi Rekhviashvili’s attempts. Both of them were lacking the accuracy.
In the 2nd half, Locomotive gained playing advantage. Vato Arveladze had a good moment to score, but his ball hit the pole.
After this moment, Arveladze was substituted by Nodar Kavtaradze. As for Davit Samurkasovi, he entered the field instead of Giorgi Gorozia.
On 67th minute, Giorgi Devdariani made the last substitution in the team. Giorgi Rekhviashvili continued fighting instead of Giorgi Kiknadze.
Nika Chanturia’s shot hit the pole of the host team’s gate once more. Davit Ubilaba, a captain of the team, also possessed a real chance, but he was not able to score, being near to the target.
On 69th minute, Zurab Arziani was sent off from the field by the head referee. In 3 minutes, Irakli Komakhidze was signaled a red card by him.
In the next match of Erovnuli Liga, Loco will compete with Dinamo Tbilisi. Derby of the capital city will take start on July 29, at 18:00, at Mikheil Meskhi spare stadium.
