"Our spectators are going to enjoy the show"

On January 12^th, 13^th and 14^th of the current year Winter Cup tournament has been held in Tbilisi Olympic Palace. The aim of the tournament, which carries the name of David Petriashvili, is to diversify the period of break between championships and to promote football.

The captain of Locomotive, Davit Ubilava, talked about the Winter Cup in his interview with the webpage of Erovnuli Liga.

"The tournaments like that are always special for their tenseness and performance. It is great that so many teams and footballers are taking part in the Winter Cup tournament.

Mini football is much more dynamic and swift. Consequently, our spectators are going to enjoy the show. Besides, similar tournaments are always a source of additional motivation for a footballer.

Moreover, at the beginning of the season, the main emphasis is usually placed on physical training, but here we have to be with a ball constantly and thus these matches willl definitely help us on the first stage of our training". - claims Ubilava.

During the Winter Cup, Locomotive is going to spar with Saburtalo, Merani Martvili and Tskhinvali in group D.
