Loco to Face Shturmi in Georgian Cup Round of 16

FC Locomotive Tbilisi is preparing for the Round of 16 match of the David Kipiani Georgian Cup, which they will play away against Shturmi of Sartichala.

In the previous round, our team convincingly defeated Dinamo Tbilisi 2 with a 3–0 scoreline. The goals were scored by Kokhreidze, Menteshashvili, and Metreveli.

As for Shturmi, our upcoming opponent thrashed Algeti 8–0 in the previous stage of the cup. The Sartichala-based club currently leads Liga 3, the third tier of Georgian football.

Last season, Loco and Shturmi faced each other four times: we won once, drew once, and lost twice.

The Georgian Cup Round of 16 match will take place on July 26 at 20:00 at Sartichala Central Stadium.
