Loco reach Georgian Cup quarterfinals

FC Locomotive Tbilisi have advanced to the quarterfinals of the Georgian Cup.

In the Round of 16, Loco defeated Shturmi 2-1 away in Sartichala. Although they were trailing after a goal from Giorgi Gvasalia, Sandro Shashiashvili equalized in the 48th minute, and Nikoloz Kvelashvili netted the winner just four minutes later.

Earlier, in the Round of 32, Loco secured a convincing 3-0 win over Dinamo Tbilisi 2 in Saguramo.

Locomotive's opponent in the quarterfinals will be determined through the draw.
