The loss against Dila Gori

In the 34th round of Erovnuli Liga, Locomotive Tbilisi was defeated by Dila Gori. On November 18, the opposition at Tengiz Burjanadze stadium ended with the superiority of the host team 2:1.

For the match against Dila, a top scorer of Erovnuli Liga, Irakli Sikharulidze was not able to be in service of his team. A forward of our team had gotten an inury in the national team. Due to the disqualification, te match was also missed by Mamuka Kobakhidze.

The score was opened by the host team on 25th minute. The gate of Revaz Tevdoradze was raided by Giorgi Fantsulaia. On 49th minute Gega Diasamidze had a chance to equalize the score, although the goalkeeper managed to repel the corner kick.

On 53rd minute Giorgi Fantsulaia performed double. Just in 6 minutes, Nodar Kavtaradze scored a goal and fixed the final result of the game. Kavtaradze was given a goal-scoring pass by Giorgi Gabadze.

On 71st minute, the defender of the host team, Goderdzi Machaidze was sent off by the referee.

Just in 5 minutes, Gega Diasamidze got an injury and thus could not proceed. Loco’s number 10 left the field taken with a medical stretcher.

By that time, Giorgi Devdariani had already carried out all the three substitutions. consequently, Locomotive had to proceed with 10 footballers.

For the rest of the time, Loco created several goal-scoring moments. The goalkeeper of the host team outclassed Giorgi Gorozia and then Luka Kikabidze.

During the compensated time by the referee, Giorgi Rekhviashvili also had a chance to score, but his ball missed the target.

After 34 tours, Locomotive takes the 5th position with its 53 points. Devdariani’s team will hold the following match on November 22 against Samtredia. The match will take place at Mikheil Meskhi spare stadium at 14:00.
