After a long pause, Locomotive held its first match away against Dila Gori.
Giorgi Chiabrishvili won the first match of great practical and psychological significance as the head coach.
Chiabrishvili's players created the first dangerous moment at the opponent's goal at the 7th minute, when after a corner kick, Irakli Sikharulidze's header slightly crossed the Gori’s gate. Locomotive survived the missed goal in 5 minutes, when the positional attack of the hosts ended with a shot from close range.
In the second part of the half, the ball was mainly owned by Giorgi Chiabrishvili's team. There were attempts of dangerous kicks but however, no serious danger was created at the gate of Dila. On the other hand, players of Gori were also "biting" and, thanks to the quick attacks, they faced Mamardashvili several times. In the 42nd minute, a dangerous free kick was awarded near the Locomotive penalty line. Giorgi Mamardashvili repelled Irakli Lekvtadze's shot, with an effective jump which went straight to the top of the goal. Giorgi Mamardashvili performed again at the 51st minute, when he did not allow Irakli Lekvtadze’s one to one kick in a gate. In general, Loco’s gate guard stood reliably.
Locomotive opened the score at the 58th minute. After the effective combination, Irakli Sikharulidze left Temur Shonia in front of the goalkeeper with an excellent pass. It was not difficult for Loco’s support to take Gugeshashvili's door.
After the passed goal, hosts got active and went on the attacks with great force.
Giorgi Kveladze, 18-year-old defender of Loco, was injured during the repulse of one of the dangerous attacks and was replaced by his peer Rati Mchedlishvili. It should also be mentioned that in the last games, Giorgi Chiabrishvili clearly expresses great confidence in the children of Locomotive academy.
The last minutes of the match turned into a dramatic battle. Almost full stands of Tengiz Burjanadze Stadium encouraged the hosts. Giorgi Iakobidze entered the substitution very well. The young attacker was in constant tension with the Gori defenders. The rudeness also increased and five minutes added by the referee also provoked extreme tension. After the final whistle, Giorgi Chiabrishvili's team officially won and gained 3 points.
