Locomotive beat Torpedo

In the 22^nd round of Erovnuli Liga, Locomotive Tbilisi defeated Torpedo Kutaisi. The match at Mikheil Meskhi spare stadium was won by Giorgi Devdariani’s team 2:0.

On 27^th minute Irakli Sikharulidze opened the score. The best bombardier of Erovnuli Liga performed 11 meter kick, having created the moment on his own.

On 74^th minute, Sikharulidze played double against Torpedo and thus fixed the final result of the game.

On August 11, the clash between Locomotive and Torpedo was terminated by the referee on 85^th minute.  During the match, members of Torpedo’s fan club threw explosives toward the field and its adjacent territory several times.

Giorgi Kruashvili terminated the match on 11^th minute for the first time, and on 85^th minute he had to do the same again. According to the decision made by GFF competition section, the clash renewed on August 14, 18:30. The teams have played 9 (4 compensated) minutes, but the score has not changed.

After the victory gained over Torpedo, Loco has gathered 33 points and occupies the 4^th position. For the next match  Devdariani’s team will visit Kolkheti 1912 on August 20.
