Locomotive’s 3rd successive victory

Locomotive Tbilisi defeated Shukura Kobuleti. On August 25, in the 34^th round of Erovnuli Liga, Giorgi Devdariani’s footballers, being guest team, beat the rival 1:3.

Nika Chanturia is back to Loco’s main squad. He has played without a substitution. As for Giorgi Gorozia, just like in previous match, he was substituted by Mamia Gavashelishvili, who became an author of a winning goal.

On 26^th minute Vato Arveladze opened the score. Loco’s number 24, after receiving the pass from Nodar Qavtaradze, prepared the ball in the penalty area of Shukura and scored after a deliberated kick. 19 years old striker has scored 4^th goal in the current season.

In the starting minutes of the 2^nd round, Devdariani’s team has created several dangerous moments, Sikharulidze and Arveladze had chances to score, although a goalkeeper of the host team played precisely in both of the cases.

On 60^th minute, Giorgi Gorozia was substituted by Mamia Gavashelishvili, who has scored a beautiful goal just in two minutes. For Mamia, this is the 10^th goal in the current season.

Shukura managed to quit the score with one ball soon. Davit Chagelishvili scored on 66^th minute.
On 83^rd minute Irakli Sikharulidze fixed the final result of the game. Loco’s forward scored the 19^th goal in the current Erovnuli Liga.

With this victory Locomotive has gained 39 points and occupied the 4^th position. After a team pause, Devdariani’s team will have the next match against Dila Gori on September 9. The match will take place in Tbilisi, at Mikheil Meskhi spare stadium, at 17:00.
