Loco won against Borjomi at David Kipiani Cup of Georgia

FC Locomotive Tbilisi renewed the 2024 season. Our team faced Borjomi in the 1/16 finals of the Georgian Cup and defeated the opponent 6:0.

The match between Borjomi and Loco was hosted by Grigol Jomartidze stadium in Khashuri. The match started with the advantage of our team and in the 18th minute, Nika Chanturia put Loco ahead.

In the first half, Mamia Gavashelishvili and Lasha Menteshashvili managed to appear and the half ended 3:0. In the second half, goals were scored by Nikoloz Basheleishvili (twice) and Rati Mchedlishvili.

Dennis Amoako, a Ghanaian legionnaire, made his debut in the ranks of our team, who we added on loan from Gagra.

The draw for the round of 16 of the cup will be held on July 22.
