Loco Draws Season Opener Against Gonio
FC Locomotive Tbilisi has officially kicked off the 2025 football season.
In the first round of Erovnuli Liga 2, we hosted league debutants Gonio at Tengiz Burjanadze Stadium in Gori. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Loco took the lead in the 6th minute through a penalty converted by Lasha Menteshashvili. Gonio equalized in the 35th minute, 10 minutes before halftime, with a goal from Kaka Kakhabrishvili.
As a result, we start the 2025 campaign with 1 point. In the second round, Loco will face Tkibuli Meshakhte. The match will take place on March 15 at Agrano Vachadze Stadium in Ambrolauri.
