FC Locomotive will meet the leader Gareji

FC Locomotive Tbilisi is preparing for the match against Sagarejo Gareji. Our team will face the leader of the National League 2 on Davit Petriashvili Stadium.

Loco meets an important meeting in a good mood. The team made a comeback against Khobi Kolkheti in the match of the previous round of the draw. After the first half, the opponent was beating us 0:1, and in the second half, with the goals of Makharoblidze and Turkia, we were left with the victory. With this win, Loco moved to the 8th place in the National League 2 and avoided the relegation zone.

Gareji changed the head coach before the season. Our opponent looked unconvincing in the first matches, however, they improved their game in the last period, in the matches of the previous two rounds, they defeated Meran and Spaer of Martvili Merani. Gareji is the first place with 51 points, are 6 points ahead of the second-placed Poti Kolkheti.

FC Locomotive and Gareji have already played twice in the current season. We won the first match 3:0. In the second game, our team lost 2:3 in a dramatic battle.

The victory over Gareji in the semi-finals of the Davit Kipinai Cup of Georgia in 2019 was outstanding for our team. Then we defeated the opponent 3:2 with the goals of Sikharulidze, Chanturia and Shonia.
