Georgia U19 is in the Elite Round

The Georgian U-19 team played against Estonia in the qualifying round of the European Championship, played 1:1 and advanced to the Elite Round.

The match, held at the “Buro Arena” in the Swedish city of Borås, was tense. In the 17th minute, a penalty was awarded to our team, which Maksim Kalimulin converted into a goal. However, the little “crusaders” restored the balance in the first half. In the 41st minute, an attack on the Estonians’ goal ended with Oscar Pihela intercepting the ball into his own goal.

In the second half, the score did not change, Lasha Pirtskhalishvili’s team finished the group with 4 points, just like Estonia, but thanks to more balls, we came in second place and earned the right to play in the Elite Round.

Two Loco players were invited to the U19 team - Aleksandre Turkia and Luka Khelashvili.
