Locomotive loses points with Sioni
In the 15th round of Erovnuli Liga, Locomotive Tbilisi lost the match against Sioni. On June 17, Lasha Chaghiashvili’s team was defeated with the minimal score at Mikheil Meskhi spare stadium.
The only goal of the match was scored by Zviad Sikharulia at the 44th minute.
Otar Kobakhidze was missing the match against Sioni. He was not included in the list due to his disqualification.
Loco could have opened the score twice. In the first case Mamia Gavashelishvili’s shot was blocked by the defender of Sioni, whereas, in the second case Lasha Gvalia missed the target.
In the second half, Davit Samurkasovi, having entered the field through substitution, had a good chance to equalize the score – his shot turned out to be inaccurate.
Besides Samurkasovi, Irakli Komakhidze and Rezi Injgia were also involved in the match by Chaghiashvili, however, Loco had trouble in creating real goal-scoring moments.
After 15 tours, out team possess 15 points and occupy the 7th position. In the following round, Loco will be competing with Kolkheti 1913. The match will take place on June 22, at Mikheil Meskhi spare stadium, at 18:00.
