Locomotive Loses the Match against Current Champion

In the 26^th round of Erovnuli Liga of Georgia, Locomotive Tbilisi has lost the match against the current champion Samtredia. On September 16, the clash, which had a place at Erosi Manjgaladze Stadium, was lost by Giorgi Devdariani’s team 2:1.

In the clash against Samtredia Giorgi Devdariani’s team was missing the members. Because of the injuries, Irakli Komakhidze and Mamia gavashelishvili were not in service of the team.

Loco was given two chances to open the score in the 1^st half. In the first case Giorgi Gorozia could score a goal, then,  Irakli Sikharulidze also lost his chance.
Facing a goalkeeper, Gorozia was in a good position, but his ball missed the target, as for Sikharulidze, he could also open the score with Vato Arveladze’s pass. A header by the bombardier of Erovnuli Liga, was repelled by Omar Migineishvili.

Samtredia also had a chance to score, but Revaz Tevdoradze managed to repel the distant shot by Nikoloz Sabanadze, as well as Giuli Manjgaladze’s penalty kick.

In the debut of the second half, the host team opened the score. Revaz Tevdoradze’s gate was raided by Ante Gii. After the goal, Devdariani called for Lasha Gvalia on the field, who substituted Davit Samurkasovi. As for Giorgi Gorozia, he was substituted by Luka Kikabidze.

Irakli Sikharulidze equalized the score on 68^th minute. Loco’s footballers have performed good combination , a goal scoring pass was made by Gega Diasamidze, as a result, Irakli Sikharulidze score the 20^th goal in Erovnuli Liga.

After equalizing the score, Loco was given two more real moments. At first, Omar Migineishvili repelled the ball from Vato Arveladze. After that, he outclassed Irakli Sikharulidze.

The winning goal was scored by Ante Gii on the 3^rd minute compensated by the referee.Thus, the final result of the match was fixed.

In the next match Loco will compete with Chikhura Sachkhere, on September 23.
